Definitely believed that ambiguity is a protective veil. Thank you for the reminder that we can be ok with some ambiguity and perhaps uncertainty.

ya! i think like

there's this idea sometimes that everything needs to be Open and Totally Clarified. thinking abt an old friend(?) who was like "(fantasizing fondly) imagine if everyone could share everything about themselves and decide how to feel about each other" as if sometimes sharing stuff Only Hurts People and as if people don't sometimes have *conflicting desires*???

openness is no "moral good"

real world is messy and no clear "right"

there's enough ambiguity in the heart to love, and love to be certain of an ambiguous thing

yeah!! tbh a bit confused about the first one but I think I know what you mean by the second! like... to read something with love and see through the ambiguity to the love hidden inside?

Mhmm! That's a very pretty interpretation, cause i meant my comment more as poem than a clar description of anything. I guess i'm just playing around with the language, and how love and appreciation can be so ambiguous but also certain in it's devotion!
